Marta guided us through the Spanish bureaucracy, which can be quite overwhelming, from building our house, obtaining residencia, writing our Spanish wills and using our power of attorney to sign documents when we were not available. Marta has helped us secure our house! Her patience and experience were key in navigating the purchase process. We knew we had a strong advocate when the other party (sellers and their realtor) became noticeably frustrated by her insightful comments. In fact, the sellers later admitted they nearly withdrew from the deal because of her diligence, which, to us, was a clear indication that Marta was doing an excellent job protecting our interests. Marta is a consummate professional who helped us achieve our dream of buying a property in Valencia (We are from Canada and not yet fluent in Spanish). She speaks excellent English and responds to Whatsapp messages, calls and emails promptly. Our purchase was very complicated and lengthy but Marta kept us moving forward and put in alot of extra work above and beyond what was originally planned. Marta Romero is an amazing lawyer and remarkable person. We highly recommend anyone to use Marta's services. When we first started looking into purchasing property in Spain, we were very fortunate to connect with Marta who was guiding us through every step of the process. With her excellent communication skills and outstanding knowledge, there was always a solution to every problem. After receiving NIE and completing a few other formalities, we finally found a great apartment but there was a challenge - the seller side had 8 different owners and they were not exactly on the same page. What seem to be a complicated situation, where all the other buyers walked away, was "just another day in the office" for Marta.
